About this Entry: Each year the ISU Horticulture Center chooses a theme to educate and inspire the ISU and local community about the wonderful world of flora and fauna at the Center. These events are free and open to the public, throughout the year . The marketing for the Sounds of the Center materials were designed to attract families to the event by making it fun and engaging.
The object of the Horticulture Center's events are to reach out to the surrounding community, and all others interested, in order to involve them in the study and research of the Horticulture Center and share in that accumulated knowledge. Illinois State University's motto is "Gladly Learn and to Teach." These events embodied those principals by reaching out to the surrounding community with the auspice of educating others about the wonders of nature.
